A Canadian classic. Long but good. I have never read the books but I enjoyed this film. A great look on Canadian past.

When I was much younger, about 6 or so years, I watched this movie. I cannot remember which version I watched but I liked it.

As a big fan of Anne of Green Gables, I can only say that this is the best adaptation of the book, and it captures the spirit of the book very well

I don't care what anyone thinks of me, I do and will always get fuzzy happy feelings when I watch this movie. It's a "kindred spirit" in a world that seems to forget what true intimacy, whether it be between lovers, friends, or family, really is. I will be watching this and showing it to my children's children for a long time.

I never got why people love this, and House on the Prairie, etc. I guess I'm just not into the "olden days" as much as other people.
