A Canadian classic. Long but good. I have never read the books but I enjoyed this film. A great look on Canadian past.

As a big fan of Anne of Green Gables, I can only say that this is the best adaptation of the book, and it captures the spirit of the book very well

MCT:August 29, 2008I don't care what anyone thinks of me, I do and will always get fuzzy happy feelings when I watch this movie. It's a "kindred spirit" in a world that seems to forget what true intimacy, whether it be between lovers, friends, or family, really is. I will be watching this and showing it to my children's children for a long time.
